Ella Kennen

Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Ella Kennen now calls Connecticut home after years living across states and continents. As Coordinator for the New Connecticut Farmer Alliance, she supports 700 beginning and small-scale producers to build equity, resilience, and collaboration in the local ag economy.

A systems thinker, Ella holds a Master’s in Industrial-Organizational Psychology She serves on the Board of the Working Lands Alliance, her town’s Conservation and Land Acquisition Commissions, and is active in the Connecticut Farm to School Collaborative and the Northeast Climate Disaster Relief Network.
