Ellie is a lifelong food lover and was drawn to food systems work because of its ability to influence every other system that’s critical to creating a just and vibrant world. She currently co-leads Seed Change Strategies, a consulting firm that helps people changing the world through food and agriculture connect to the partners, ideas, and resources they need to spark and sustain transformative change. Previously, she worked at the Wallace Center where she served on the backbone team of the Food Systems Leadership Network. Ellie has also worked in state and local policy advocacy and in local food distribution. She has a Masters in Regional Planning from Cornell University and a BA from the University of Michigan. She lives in her hometown of Washington, DC but can never seem to stay away from the mountains for long.
