Michael Webster

Michael Webster (he/him) is the Founder of Tory Hill, an organization dedicated to strengthening regional food systems by connecting small, family-run farms across New England with institutions including K–12 schools, independent schools, food access organizations, and corporate dining programs. Through this work, he advances access to locally sourced, environmentally regenerative food while championing the farmers and stories behind it.

Beyond distribution, Michael is deeply engaged in education and systems-building. Helping students, communities, and organizations understand where food comes from, why it matters, and how individual choices shape healthier, more sustainable outcomes. His work emphasizes the intersection of food, wellness, and environmental stewardship.

Michael serves on the Board of the Connecticut Farmland Trust, supporting the preservation of agricultural land, and contributes to the CT Grown for CT Kids grant review panel. He is also a volunteer with the Salisbury EMS team. He lives in the Northwest Corner of Connecticut with his wife, twin daughters Olive and Emilie, and their dog, Dollie.
